Lodi, April 14 and 15, 2012
Micamera participates to the Ethic Photography Festival in Lodi (Milan). In its third edition, the Festival is clearly one of the most interesting photography initiatives in Italy. Exhibitions, presentations, talks: an intense program that you can read in details at:
We will have a stand at the San Cristoforo Church, in via Fanfulla. At our stand authors like Robert Knoth and Antoinette de Jong (right after the presentations of their books, see the festival’s programs on their website for full details!)
To celebrate the end of the event organized in collaboration with Kehrer Verlag at our bookshop, we have invited Rafal Milach and Ania Nalecka. Rafal Milach is the author of 7 Rooms, beautiful book designed by Ania Nalecka, that has recently won the Best Photography Book Award POYi.
The book is the result of a work that has lasted a period of several years, during which Rafal has accompanied with his camera seven young people living in the Russian cities of Moscow, Yekaterinburg and Krasnoyarsk. In intimate pictures, he portrays a generation caught up between the mentality of the old Soviet regime and the up-and-coming Russia of the Putin era.
Rafal Milach will be at our stand Saturday, April 14 at 5.45pm to meet the public and sign the copies of the book. Don’t miss this opportunity!
